Making A Purchase Browse our store and 'click' on photo images or 'more' buttons to see an enlarged view of the item. Place items into your shopping cart by using the individual stamp listing 'Add to Cart' buttons.

Once you have made your selections, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for details that we need to complete your order. The process follows several stages and your payment authorisation will be handled via a secure link to PayPal (a PayPal account is not required to pay by credit or debit card and registration is optional).

We do not have a minimum purchase. All orders are securely packed in hard backed envelopes and include free glassines and/or stock cards where necessary. Heavier or bulky items maybe sent by secure packaging. Exceptions to this policy are stated in item descriptions.

NOTE: Stamps and philatelic material is not sent on approval.

Photographic or digital images of items on this site are not actual size. We give product specifications when necessary to assist in product selection. Specifications and all descriptions of size, weight and dimensions are approximate and cannot be guaranteed.

We may email and/or phone customers to confirm order details. Please see our Credit Card Security policy. For security we only despatch orders direct to the PayPal registered address.

ORDER CONFIRMATION
When you receive our confirmation of order, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we despatch your order and send a confirmation of despatch email. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

DESPATCH
All orders are despatched by UK Royal Mail via the Paulovia Postal Service and our current rates are listed in Shipping and Handling

CANCEL YOUR ORDER
If you wish to cancel your order:
i. Notify us by email before we have despatched the goods to you, or
where goods have been despatched to you, by returning the goods to us in accordance with (ii) below.
ii. You can return the goods you have ordered from us within 14 days of posting date for a refund (less our postage costs) or exchange in accordance with our Returns Policy.

RETAIN RECORDS
Customers are strongly advised to retain copies of all transaction details, invoices, electronic or printed, detailing credit card, debit card, or other payment transactions and relevant reference numbers, relating to orders placed on this web site.

DECLINING YOUR ORDER
Unless we have already notified you that we do not accept your order or you have cancelled your order, we may refuse an order:
(a) where goods are not available;
(b) where we cannot obtain authorisation for your payment;
(c) if there has been a pricing or product description error;
(e) if we are unable to verify your email or delivery address; or
(d) if you do not meet any eligibility criteria set out in our terms and conditions

Shipping And Handling
Standard Postal Zone charges are made for all orders upto 40 grams weight. Thereafter each extra gram above 40g is charged postage at the rate of 0.02 GBP for UK, 0.03 GBP for Europe and 0.04 GBP for the Rest of the World. We do not have a minimum order.

Please note that we are not responsible or liable for taxes, charges or custom levies made at destination. Packages for destinations outside the EU will be declared as 'Printed Matter Only' on customs declarations.

Maximum order weight is 500 grams. Orders exceeding this will be split into two or more packages and charged as seperate orders.

Delivery Schedule We normally process all orders within 48 hours on clearance of payment.

UK orders are normally received by customers within 3 business days of despatch.
European orders are normally received by customers within 5-7 business days of despatch.
Rest of the World orders are normally received by customers within 10-14 days of despatch with some exceptions for very remote and island destinations.

Customers will be advised of any additional delay in despatching orders. Please allow extra time for public, bank and seasonal hoildays (Easter and Christmas especially), and extreme weather conditions. The UK and Paulovian mail services are limited on Saturdays and do not operate on Sundays and public holidays.

Back Orders If an ordered item is not in stock, we will NOT back order the item. Our stock monitoring system normally avoids this situation from arising. However, in the event that orders are allowed to be placed for an out of stock item between updates, we will email to advise you of non-availability and refund monies where already paid.
Tax Charges We are not a business and are not registered for Value Added Tax, therefore VAT is not added to our prices and is not shown on item details. International customers (including Channel Islands) be aware that all taxes, charges, clearance and customs fees at order destination are the responsibility of the purchaser and that the Paulovia Philatelic Bureau accepts no liability.
Credit Card Security
When completing 'Checkout' your credit or debit card numbers and personal data are encrypted and passed for secure processing by PayPal, our Payment Service Provider. We do not see, store or have access to any card information at any time. For additional customer security we may email or phone customers to confirm delivery details placed prior to processing orders.

Returns Policy
If you are not satisfied with your purchase, for whatever reason, you may return it within 14 days of the posting date subject to the Return Conditions below. .

In the rare event of your item being faulty or arriving damaged, you must inform us by email within 7 days of the item posting date (Return Conditions apply).

RETURN CONDITIONS
i. Contact us by email to agree return of goods.
ii. Return the item as agreed in the original packaging and condition it was received with a copy of the packing slip. Customers will be required to arrange and pay for the return of the item(s). Please obtain a Certificate of Posting.
iii. Once the item has been returned in its original condition, and we are satisfied that no substitution or negligent handling has taken place, we will offer an exchange if a replacement is available, or offer a refund of the purchase price.
iv. We will not make refunds for uninsured items lost or damaged in the post.
v. Refunds will only be made against the original credit/debit card used for the purchase via PayPal. Please note that we can only refund the original purchase price of the transaction, so we are unable to refund return postage costs.
